WE ARE STILL IN A GLOBAL PANDEMIC. On May 11, 2023, the Biden Administration announced the end of both the national and public health emergency declarations. Cases and death rates associated with the COVID-19  are declining, but the pandemic isn't over. The virus continues to mutate into other variants. The WHO (World Health Organization) declares that COVID-19 is no longer qualifies as a global emergency, but you must still be responsible and vigilant. DATW does not and cannot guarantee that you will be protected from COVID-19, it's variants, or any other viruses, illnesses, or diseases. Participate in pubic and private events at your own risk. If you prefer to continue social distancing at events and wearing masks and gloves - please do so. Any and everyone who participates in DATW events agrees to not hold DATW responsible or liable for your exposure to Covid-19, its variants, or any other viruses, illnesses, or disease.

PLEASE always take the necessary precautions to protect yourself. If you have any concerns about being in a group or public setting - follow Illinois public health guidelines - even if you've been vaccinated and boosted. At the very least - bring/wear a mask, wash your hands frequently, wear gloves, don't touch your face or mouth excessively, and keep a safe distance from other people. Don't cough, sneeze, or spit on or near anyone. And if you have or think you may have any symptoms of infection - stay home, self-isolate, and seek medical attention, if needed.

By participating with DATW whether as a volunteer, a client, a community partner, a participant, and/or a guest, you take full responsibility for your health and safety and may not hold DATW responsible for any illness, injury, or accident that may occur as a result of your participation.

If you do not or cannot agree with the above terms, please support DATW in a contactless way by donating to us via cash app. Your financial donation is an important part of helping us support women with alcohol and other substance abuse disorders. Your donation will go towards creating programs and services, providing community awareness, engagement, and outreach, and providing bus passes and other essentials to the women we serve.
